Una ventana (1) de pivote colgada en el centro con un marco fijo (2) y un marco móvil (3), comprendiendo cada uno de dichos marcos (2, 3) un miembro superior (5, 9) un miembro de fondo (6, 10) y dos miembros laterales (7, 8, 11, 12) teniendo cada uno una superficie lateral destinada a estar frente a una correspondiente superficie lateral del otro marco (2, 3) de la ventana (1), caracterizada por que al menos uno de los miembros superior (5, 9), de fondo (6, 10) o laterales (7, 8, 11, 12) de al menos uno de dichos marcos (2, 3) comprende un burlete de tope aislante (430a, 430b) sobre la superficie lateral destinada a estar frente a una superficie lateral de otro marco de la ventana (1), estando hecho dicho burlete de tope aislante (430a, 430b) de un material de poliestireno que tiene una conductividad térmica de menos de 0,08 W/(m·K), preferiblemente menos que 0,04 W/(m·K), y por que dicho burlete de tope aislante (430a, 430b) está colocado en donde el marco móvil (3) hace contacto con el marco fijo (2) durante la apertura y el cierre de la ventana, y dicho burlete de tope aislante (430a, 430b) cierra un espacio entre el marco móvil (3) y el marco fijo (2) formado para hacer un espacio para las bisagras, y en donde el burlete de tope aislante (430a, 430b) cubre también al menos una parte del lado exterior del respectivo miembro del marco.
A frame for a window intended to serve either as a stationary frame or as a sash frame according to the invention comprises an insulating abutment list on a side surface of at least one of the top, bottom or side members intended to face a side surface of another frame of the window. The insulating abutment list is made from a material having a thermal conductivity of less than 0,08 W/(m¢K), preferably less than 0,04 W/(m¢K), said insulating abutment list projecting over the exterior side of the frame. Preferred materials for the insulating abutment list are expanded polystyrene (EPS) or extruded polystyrene (XPS). In a window with such a frame, an insulating abutment list on the sash frame preferably extends from a hinge part to the bottom member of the sash frame and an insulating abutment list on the stationary frame preferably extends from a hinge part to the top member of the stationary frame.
