The invention relates to a gravity foundation for the installation of offshore wind turbines and meteorological towers, produced on a floating dock to be towed to its final location, where it is sunk, ultimately remaining entirely submerged below the level of the sea. The gravity foundation comprises a floating concrete box (1) in the form of a straight prism with rectangular bases, provided with internal vertical cells (6) connected to one another and to the exterior, said cells being provided with emptying and filling devices permitting the self-regulation of the level of ballast for sinking at its final location, which box is closed on top using a slab (2) that covers the entire surface of the box (1) with the exception of at least one cell (61) in which a concrete node (3) is formed in which a shaft (4) or a support structure (7) is fixed, joining the box (1) to the superstructure (5) on which the wind turbine or meteorological tower is then secured.
Cimentación por gravedad para la instalación de aerogeneradores offshore y torres meteorológicas, fabricada en un dique flotante para ser remolcada a su lugar de ubicación definitiva, donde se fondea quedando finalmente totalmente sumergida debajo del nivel del mar, comprendiendo un cajón autoflotante (1) de hormigón, con forma de prisma recto de bases rectangulares, provisto de celdas verticales interiores (6) interconectadas entre sí y con el exterior, dotadas de dispositivos de vaciado y llenado que permite la autorregulación del nivel de lastrado para el fondeo en su ubicación final; el cual se cierra superiormente mediante una losa (2) que abarca toda la superficie del cajón (1) a excepción de al menos una celda (61) en la que se forma un nudo de hormigón (3) en el que se fija un fuste (4) o una estructura soporte (7), que une el cajón (1) con la superestructura (5) en la que se fija a su vez el aerogenerador o una torre meteorológica.
