Un poste de barrera de carretera (100) que incluye unas aberturas (101) en lados alternos del poste que, durante el uso, reciben y retienen cada una al menos un cable en su interior, localizándose el mismo número de aberturas en cada lado del poste, en el que cada abertura tiene un orificio lateral en forma de boca, comprendiendo la boca: - una superficie superior (102, 103); y - una superficie inferior curvada (104); comprendiendo la superficie superior una región distal que se extiende hacia el lado del poste y que forma una parte de liberación rápida de cable (102) y una región próxima (103) que forma el resto de la superficie superior que se extiende alejándose desde un eje medio (Y) del poste a la región distal, comprendiendo la región distal (102) un ángulo más pronunciado con respecto a la horizontal que la región próxima (103) de la superficie superior, con el fin de reducir: - la trayectoria de desplazamiento de, y/o; - cualquier contacto por fricción con; el cable, durante su expulsión de la abertura tras una colisión con un vehículo.
A post is provided which includes apertures on alternate sides of the post which, in use, receive and retain at least one cable therein, the same number of apertures are on each side of the post wherein each aperture: has a side opening in the form of a mouth, wherein the mouth is at a distal region thereof configured to have a top surface with an angle greater than the angle at a proximate region of the mouth so as to reduce the travel path of, and/or; any frictional contact with; the cable, during ejection from aperture following a collision.
