Cuerpo moldeado de cerámica de material de base de cerámica de óxido poroso, especialmente tejas, azulejos, ladrillos, ladrillos Klinker, ladrillos caravista, paneles de fachada o muros de fachada, en el que la superficie del material de base de cerámica de óxido contiene una capa de material fotocatalíticamente activo (1) que preferentemente se extiende al material de base de cerámica de óxido (3), y en el que una capa de barrera (2) que tiene un grosor dentro de un intervalo de 1 mm a 4 mm está formada dentro de la capa (1) que contiene material fotocatalíticamente activo y preferentemente extendiéndose al material de base de cerámica de óxido, en el que la capa de barrera (2) está cubierta por una subcapa (4) de la capa que contiene material fotocatalíticamente activo qué es hidrófilo en la superficie libre, en el que la capa de barrera (2) es hidrófoba.
Oxide ceramic moldings, especially roofing tiles, bricks, fair faced bricks, facade slabs and facade walls, have a coating (1) containing a photocatalytic material which partially penetrates the oxide ceramic base (3). The photocatalytic layer contains a hydrophobic barrier (2) which also penetrates the oxide ceramic. Independent claims are included for: (A) production of the moldings by: (a) applying a suspension of photocatalytic material to the moldings and hardening it; (b) applying a solution or suspension of barrier material to the product and drying it, and (c) optionally irradiating the product with UV; and (B) production of the moldings by: (a) applying a suspension containing a photocatalytic material and a barrier material and hardening the layer; (b) optionally applying a solution or suspension of barrier material and hardening the layer produced; (c) optionally irradiating with UV or sunlight, the barrier material used in the first stage acting as a binder.
