Una instalación de radioterapia temporal (10) que comprende: una cimentación; y un módulo de bóveda de radiación (102) para soportar un dispositivo de radioterapia (25) dentro de una sala de tratamiento (20), comprendiendo el módulo de bóveda de radiación (102): un conjunto de bastidor exterior independiente (102a-102d) dispuesto sobre la cimentación; caracterizada por que el módulo de bóveda de radiación (102) comprende además: un bastidor base (26) montado de forma ajustable dentro del conjunto de bastidor exterior (102a-102d) para soportar el dispositivo de radioterapia (25); y una pluralidad de soportes ajustables (400) extensibles en una dirección descendente desde el bastidor base (26) cuando el módulo (102) se coloca en la cimentación, en donde los soportes (400) permiten que se pueda ajustar la orientación del bastidor base (26) independientemente del conjunto de bastidor exterior (102a-102d), en donde el bastidor base (26) está montado en el conjunto de bastidor exterior (102a-102d) por medio de pernos de montaje (410) que se extienden a través de orificios ranurados.
A temporary radiotherapy facility for use during renovation, upgrading, and/or modernization of an existing facility. The radiotherapy facility is integrated with radiation producing equipment and radiation shielding vaults. The structural elements and their arrangement enable compliance with applicable codes for this type of facility and provide an ability to maintain radiotherapy treatment continuity during equipment transition. The treatment room of the facility is constructed from a vault module comprising a freestanding outer frame assembly that is placed on the supporting foundation. The vault module includes a base frame adjustably mounted within the outer frame assembly for supporting the radiotherapy device and a plurality of adjustable supports for leveling the base frame independently from the outer frame assembly. The ability to level the base frame independently from the outer frame assembly allows fine adjustments to be made to the orientation of the equipment after some or all of the facility has been constructed.
