The invention relates to a process for obtaining a solid heterogeneous mixture which comprises mixing plant fibres or particles, compost, and insect residues, adding a liquid solution comprising vermicompost extract and at least one organic acid, introducing the mixture into a mould, and carrying out at least one pressure-temperature cycle consisting of applying a pressure of 15-25 kg/cm2 to said mixture and subjecting it to a temperature of 100-130ºC for 10-30 minutes. The invention also relates to a solid heterogeneous mixture comprising plant fibres or particles, compost, insect residues, vermicompost and at least one organic acid, to the product comprising it and to uses thereof in agriculture, gardening, landscaping, for soil protection, for revegetation and for releasing fertiliser into the soil.
