The invention describes a part (1) for elevated transport systems, comprising a box girder (11) from which two side projections (12) emerge, such that an upper slab (11s) of the box girder (11) and the side projections (12) support a platform and tracks of the elevated transport system. The box girder (11) further comprises an inner cavity (C) for housing auxiliary equipment. Furthermore, a lower slab (11i) of the box girder (11) comprises at least one opening (A) configured for introducing at least one container (200) with auxiliary equipment into said inner cavity (C) by hoisting it from below the part (1). The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing an elevated transport system using parts (1) of this type, as well as to the use of this part (1) for constructing an elevated transport system.
