The present invention relates to an enamelled ceramic material with a low coefficient of thermal expansion to be used as main raw material (from 65% to 85%) in porcelain stoneware compositions to manufacture large sheets (greater than 1.4 metres) and also to be used as main raw material in the manufacture of an enamel (from 85% to 95%) which will provide the large sheet with a waterproof, protective and decorative surface. The frit provides the assembly (support with enamel) with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (hereinafter CTE). Furthermore, the resulting composition can be processed in a conventional industrial ceramic kiln, for which reason aspects such as melt viscosity or adherence to rollers have been taken into consideration during implementation. Since the enamelled ceramic material has a very low CTE, it can be used as a substitute for the vitro-ceramic material used in the manufacture of induction plates. This enamelled ceramic material may be coloured (both the support and the enamel) and decorated (the enamel), thus adding a novel feature to traditional induction plates.
