The filter has a pyramidal form whose base includes the upper opening. The first compartment is positioned below the second compartment. The filtering element is: approximately parallel to a bottom of the first compartment; approximately tilted compared to the bottom of the first compartment; and approximately perpendicular to the bottom of the first compartment. The filter comprises a display window that is located on a lateral wall of the first compartment. An independent claim is included for a rainwater filtration system.
