The invention concerns a method for producing a sound-absorbing panel, comprising the following steps: -providing a glass plate, -forming a plurality of through-slots with a width of between 0.2 and 1.0 mm in the plate by machining with at least one diamond cutting disc. The invention can be used to produce a sound-absorbing panel quickly and economically.
