L'invention concerne une installation de rangement à l'intérieur d'une chambre (2), d'un dispositif pour recouvrir et découvrir une surface à l'aide d'un élément de couverture (6) déplacé à l'aide d'un système de déploiement/rangement (8), l'installation comportant : - un équipage télescopique déplaçable entre une position escamotée et une position sortie ; - un système motorisé de déplacement vertical de l'équipage télescopique entre sa position escamotée et sa position sortie ; - un mécanisme de soulèvement automatique de l'équipage télescopique exerçant en permanence sur l'équipage télescopique un effort de levage pour assurer son déplacement entre sa position escamotée et sa position sortie ; - un système commandé de contrôle du mécanisme de soulèvement, comportant au moins un treuil motorisé entraînant en rotation un tambour assurant l'enroulement d'au moins une élingue (66),
