La présente invention a pour objet une dalle composite, notamment pour la réalisation de revêtements de sols ou de terrasses intérieurs ou extérieurs. Dalle (1) constituée par une plaque d'exposition (2) supérieure, solide et rigide, solidarisée intimement à une couche sous-jacente (3) d'absorption des chocs et réalisée en un matériau résilient d'une densité de 40 à 80 kg/m dont au moins la face inférieure (4), en contact avec la surface sur laquelle repose la dalle, présente une couche de maintien (5) de l'intégrité de la dalle (1) en cas de cassure de la plaque d'exposition (2), ladite couche de maintien (5) étant réalisée en un matériau compact d'une densité de 800 à 1600 kg/m3.
