An automatic sliding sash arrangement of a door or a window, comprises at least one lift-and-slide sash, which can be driven by means of an, in particular, electrical drive device which can be actuated by an electronic control device. The drive device comprises a drive for raising and lowering the lift-and-slide sash and a drive, which is coupled with the lift-and-slide sash, for displacing the raised lift-andslide sash along a rail. The electronic control device and the drive for displacing the lift-and-slide sash are arranged on the inner side of the sliding sash arrangement, said inner side facing the interior of a space provided with the sliding sash arrangement.
