The invention thus consists of a noncombustible mineral foam comprising: - from 30% to 90% by weight of pozzolanic inorganic binder comprising polymerized metakaolin, - from 0.08% to 2% by weight of thickener, - from 0.003% to 0.07% by weight of at least one anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of C8-C18-alkyl sulfates, C8-C18-alkyl ether sulfates, C8-C18-alkyl aryl sulfonic acids, C8-C18 fatty acids and mixtures thereof, - from 0.002% to 0.03% by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of alkyl polyglucosides, a gaseous phase. The invention also relates to the process for manufacturing said foam, and also the intermediate composition intended to form the foam before it is brought into contact with a blowing agent. The invention finally relates to doors, plugged pipes and other supports on which said foam is applied, or which comprise said foam.
