La présente invention concerne une pièce en matériau composite (1) comprenant un renfort fibreux en fils (12) de carbone ou de céramique et une matrice majoritairement en céramique (16), la pièce comprenant en outre une première couche d'interphase (14) recouvrant les fils et présente entre les fils et la matrice, ladite première couche d'interphase étant une couche de nitrure de bore dopé par de l'aluminium et présentant une teneur atomique en aluminium comprise entre 5% et 15%.
