L'invention concerne un système machine-outil, notamment pour des travaux sur une voie de chemin de fer, comprenant au moins une machine-outil telle qu'une tronçonneuse de rails de voie ferrées, et un dispositif d'entrainement de la machine. Le système est caractérisé en ce que la machine-outil (1, 2, 3, 4) est équipée d'un moteur électrique alimenté en puissance par une batterie électrique (5) avantageusement disposée dans un ensemble (6) portable par l'opérateur de la machine et qui est reliée au moteur par un câble de déchargement de puissance (9). L'invention est utilisable dans le domaine des voies de chemins de fer.

The machine-tool is provided with an electric motor powered by an electric battery which is advantageously arranged in an assembly that can be worn by the operator of the machine and is connected to the motor by a power discharge cable.
