L'invention concerne une composition aqueuse de liant pour produits isolants à base de laine minérale, comprenant (a) au moins un glucide choisi parmi les sucres réducteurs, les sucres non-réducteurs, les sucres hydrogénés et un mélange de ceux-ci, la proportion de sucres hydrogénés dans le glucide étant comprise entre 25 et 100 % en poids, (b) au moins un acide polycarboxylique monomère ou un sel ou anhydride d'un tel acide, (c) de l'isosorbide, le rapport en poids isosorbide/glucide étant compris entre 0,1 et 3,0, de préférence entre 0,2 et 2,0, plus préférentiellement entre 0,3 et 1,5. Elle concerne également un procédé de fabrication de produits isolants à base de laine minérale utilisant une telle composition et les produits obtenus par un tel procédé.
The invention relates to an aqueous binder composition for insulating products based on mineral wool, comprising (a) at least one carbohydrate selected from reducing sugars, non-reducing sugars, hydrogenated sugars and a mixture thereof, wherein the proportion of hydrogenated sugars in the carbohydrate is between 25 and 100 % by weight, (b) at least one monomeric polycarboxylic acid or a salt or anhydride of such an acid, (c) isosorbide, the isosorbide/carbohydrate weight ratio being between 0.1 and 3.0, preferably between 0.2 and 2.0, more preferably between 0.3 and 1.5. The invention also relates to a method for producing insulating products based on mineral wool using such a composition and to the products obtained by such a method.
