Dispositif d’assistance 10 au franchissement d’un obstacle par un véhicule à roues, notamment pour personne à mobilité réduite, caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend un bâti 11 stationnaire, un châssis 12 sensiblement horizontal, le châssis 12 étant mobile entre une position haute et une position basse dans laquelle ledit châssis 12 repose sur le bâti 11, et un ensemble d’entraînement 14 en translation verticale du châssis 12, supporté par le bâti 11 et supportant le châssis 12, ledit ensemble d’entraînement 14 comprenant une paire de ciseaux 18 à bras articulés en X, chaque bras de ciseau comprenant une extrémité articulée au châssis 12 et une extrémité articulée au bâti 11, avec translation à l’une desdites extrémités, un actionneur 15 d’entraînement entre la position basse et la position haute du châssis 12, et un mécanisme de désintéressement 30 des ciseaux 18, actif à partir et à proximité de la position basse et offrant un effet de levier inférieur à l’effet de levier des ciseaux 18 à proximité de la position basse, un plateau 13 supporté par le châssis 12 et mobile en translation horizontale par rapport au châssis 12, en position haute, pour venir en contact avec un sommet de l’obstacle, le plateau 13 étant conçu pour affleurer le sol avoisinant, en position basse. A device, for helping a wheeled vehicle to negotiate an obstacle, includes a stationary framework, a substantially horizontal frame movable between a high position and a low position in which the frame rests on the framework, and an assembly for vertically translating the frame, the assembly is supported by the framework and supports the frame, the drive assembly includes a pair of shears with X-shaped articulated arms, each arm having an end hinged to the frame and an end hinged to the framework, by translation at one end, a drive actuator for driving the frame between the low and high positions. A plate is supported by the frame and, when the frame is in the high position, translatably movable horizontally relative to the frame, so as to come into contact with a vertex of the obstacle, the plate being flush with the neighboring ground when in the low position.
