L’invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de contrôle de l’ouverture d’une porte (11) d’un véhicule (10) à l’arrêt comprend la détection d’une commande d’ouverture de la porte (11). Un ensemble de directions d’un regard d’un passager assis dans un siège associé à la porte (11) sont déterminées à partir de données reçues d’un système de contrôle d’attention de conducteur, dit système DMS (101). Cet ensemble de directions du regard du passager est comparé à la direction (2101) associée à l’observation d’un rétroviseur (21) par le passager. En fonction du résultat de la comparaison, l’ouverture de la porte est contrôlée, c’est-à-dire par exemple l’ouverture est autorisée ou la porte est maintenue verrouillée pour empêcher le passager d’ouvrir cette porte (11). The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the opening of a door (11) of a stationary vehicle (10) and comprises the detection of a command for opening the door (11). A set of directions of a gaze of a passenger sat in a seat associated with the door (11) is determined from data received by a system for monitoring a driver's attention, which system is referred to as a DMS system (101). Said set of directions of the gaze of the passenger is compared with the direction (2101) associated with the passenger observing a rear-view mirror (21). Whether the door opens is based on the result of the comparison, that is to say, for example, that authorisation is granted for the door to be opened or to remain locked to prevent the passenger from opening said door (11).
