A method of making an interior car panel comprises assembling a plurality of decorative elements 2 into a frame 3 comprising a plurality of spaced apart recesses 4 such that a tessellated arrangement of decorative elements is formed within each recess; adhering an adhesive film (6, fig 4) to the plurality of decorative elements 2 in the frame 3; removing the frame 3 to leave the plurality of spaced apart tessellated arrangements 5 of decorative elements on the film; cutting around the perimeter of each tessellated arrangement 5 to produce a plurality of individual tiles 7 and applying the individual tiles 7 to the carrier (8, fig 6) to produce the decorative tessellated interior car panel. Also disclosed is a decorative tessellated interior car panel comprises a carrier (8) having mounted thereon a plurality of regularly shaped tessellated regions 5 each comprising a plurality of tessellated decorative elements 2.
