A masonry support
A masonry support assembly 10 having an anchor component 11 suitable for attachment to a supporting structure of a building, such as a cavity wall leaf of a floor slab, a masonry support component 12 adjustably mountable directly or indirectly to the anchor component 11, preferably an elongate plate 12 supported my multiple anchors for supporting masonry. The support 12 may be fixable relative to the anchor component(s) 11 at a plurality of positions such to accommodate for variations in cavity depths in a wall or inaccuracies in initial measurements, without requiring ad-hoc solutions such as shimming. An intermediate member 13 may be used to mount the support 12, to the anchors 11. Matching slots 21-23 in the intermediate member and 15-18 in the anchors may be aligned and loosely receive bolts, allowing slidably adjustment prior to tightening of a nut on the bolt to fix the position. Threaded projection 37 of the intermediate member may be slidably received in slots 38 in the plate 12 for securing the member with a nut after initial position.
