A composite insulation panel
The composite insulating panel 1 comprises an external sheet 4 having an outer face and an inner face, an internal sheet 2 having an outer face and an inner face, and an insulating body 5 between the sheets. The external sheet has a portion that extends beyond the internal sheet and the insulating body to define an overlap part for overlapping with part of an adjacent panel. A seal 21, 22 is applied to the inner face of the overlap part of the external sheet. The seal is a strip gasket which has a hollow bead with a flat portion and may be p-shaped such that the flat portion extends beyond a side of the bead. The seal may comprise several parallel spaced apart strips which extend across the inner face of the overlap part. The several strips may be carried on a common release substrate before adhesive bonding to the inner face of the overlap part. The panel may include a series of projections.
