A disarm device
A disarm device for use with a hitch arrangement on a working arm of a working machine. The device comprises a pressure sensor for measuring pressure in a hydraulic piston 62. A controller 22 determines if an attachment 8 is supported by the ground. The controller may prevent opening of the hydraulic coupler if the attachment is not sufficiently supported by the ground. Additional sensors may measure the tilt of the attachment and prevent decoupling if the attachment is not correctly orientated. Strain gauges located at the hitch of the working arm may be used in place of pressure sensors. An audible or visual warning may be provided when coupling and decoupling.
