A raised floor tile 1 comprising a plurality of protrusions 4 on its lower surface for supporting the tile and at least one male 6 or female 7 member on each edge, adapted to engage with a corresponding member on an adjacent tile. The protrusions may be fitted with extension legs (13, Figure 3). The tile may comprise openings 5a, 5b which are covered with removable covers that press-fit into a cut-out provided around the opening. The corners of the tile may comprise a cut-out 10 which is part of a circle or square in shape. A plurality of raised floor tiles may be engaged with each other and a locking piece may be engaged with the adjoining corners, locking them together. When the locking piece is not engaged, cable or wiring can be fitting through the opening defined by the corner cut-outs. A skirting bracket (17, Figure 6) may be used as an edging around the tiles. The protrusions or extension legs may interlock with the skirting bracket.
