A tap body attachment
An apparatus for attaching a tap body 601 on to a sink, the apparatus has a tap body positioned above an aperture on the sink. The tap body has at least one water pipe inlet port 602 on a surface which is able to be positioned directly above the sink aperture. The apparatus also includes a fastening plate 609 which has a threaded hole, for positioning underneath the sink aperture and a securing bolt 604. The securing bolt is inserted through a central hole 603 in the tap body and into the threaded hole of the plate which secures the tap body and the fastening plate from above the sink. The water pipe inlet port is flush with the external surface of the tap body. A corresponding method of attaching a tap body on to a sink is also described.
