Improved Door Knocker Clasp Fixing Structure
A door clasp fixing structure, that avoids exposing the bolts used to fix the structure to a door, comprises: a fixing mount 10, a main body 20, and a door knocker ring 30 pivotally assembled to the main body. The fixing mount includes a base plate 11 with a plurality of through holes 12. Frontward bent limiting plates 13 are provided on two sides of the base plate, and a clasp knob 14 protrudes from the external side surface of each limiting plate. The back surface of the main body protrudes frontward to form a hollow holding space. Bolts 40 pass through the fixing mount and through holes to engage the fixing mount to the external surface of a door 50. When the main body is attached to the fixing mount the limiting plates are bent inwards, after which they spring back to their original position. The holding space is used to encase the fixing mount, thereby concealing the fixing mount and bolts. The bolts may be paired with hollow tubular stop pieces 15, located at a distance from the inner sides of the limiting plates. The stop pieces prevent excessive bending of the limiting plates.
