The barrier may be collapsible, and comprise an integral attachment member 25 extending between a beam 26 at the upper edge of the or each section and a structure 24. The structure may comprise a bracket for attachment of the attachment member. The waterproof connection may comprise clasp lockers or zips. The base may comprise a fillable container, and a skirt between an outwardly facing surface and the ground. the base of each section may be in fluid connection with the bases of adjacent sections. The screen may comprise a doorway window reinforced by a supporting frame, and may be transparent or translucent. The barrier may comprise an anchor. Also claimed is a method of erecting the barrier.
