Support frame member and floor support frame
The frame member 10 comprises a substantially planar header. 11 On lateral edges of the header a first and second side walls 13 which are connected to the header by their proximal edge, such that the header and side walls define a channel 14. The side walls each include a distal edge from each outwardly and away from the channel defines a planar flange 16. The planes of the flanges and header are substantially parallel. The flanges may include regularly spaced slots/apertures 17 for receiving fixing portions. The side walls may diverge away from the header. Also claimed is a frame comprising the members wherein two layers of frame members are arranged such that the channels formed face each other and the frame members are non parallel. The flanges of the first layer of members may abut the flanges of the members in the second layer.
