Improved shower pump drainage system
Shower pump drainage system for controlling flooding in a shower or bathroom comprises a water drainage pump 40; a water detector 30 adjacent a shower tray or floor former 10; and means 50 for activating the pump when the water detector senses water; and such activation being independent of other activation means, e.g. a flow sensor 70 measuring the flow of water going to a shower head 60. Flow sensor 70 may activate pump 40 when it detects water flow through the shower head. A user may be alerted on operation of water detector 30.
