A removable flush button device for a toilet for assisting a user to operate a dual-flush button on a toilet, the device has a housing 1 comprising a button member 2 protruding from the housing and attached to an actuating member 9. The actuating member is substantially aligned and engageable to the said flush button when the device is attached to the cistern (13, figure 8). The device may be attached to the cistern by using suction cups, screws, hook and loop fasteners, double sided tape, or adhesive. Further embodiments relate to a method of flushing a toilet when the device is being used, and use of the device with a dual flushing toilet.
