The unit 10 comprises outer 20 and inner 18 housings. The outer housing is for fixing to a wall and the inner housing is configured to be located within the outer housing. One housing includes a series of engagement features 22 spaced apart in a first pattern. The other housing, preferably the inner one, includes a protrusion 24 for engagement with the features. The protrusion and engagement features are configured to permit incremental movement of the housings relative to each other. The engagement/protrusion features are preferably located in the corners of their respective housings. The units protrusion may include a locking feature operable between a first orientations where it is free of the engagement features and allows relative movement of the housings and a second orientation where movement is prevented. The telescopic movement of the housings allows adjustment to the length of the device.
