A structural panel 1 with interlocking formations comprising a plurality of male 6, 4 and female clips 7, 5 on one or more surfaces of the panel so that when the panel is inverted the panel interlocks with male and female clips on a similar panel. Preferably the male 6 and female 7 clips are on one face of the panel, and the array of male and female clips are such that one panel can be offset laterally from another panel, and allow one panel to be interlocked with two or more panels (see fig 3). Additionally the panel may have male 4 and female 5 clips on one or more side/edge of the panel that is perpendicular to the face of the panel. The overlapping of the panels when interlocked increases the strength of the total assembly. The panels are preferably for use in construction beneath paved areas and as components of walls, floors and roofs. The panels may have orifices 8 which create channels which pass through the panel.
