Improvements in or relating to frame members
The frame member 10, for use in a door panel of a bi-fold door assembly, has first 12 and second 14 metal frame member portions, the first frame member portion includes a first side 16 having a first seal-forming abutment 18, and on a second opposite side 20 a bead member 22 for abutting a glazing panel. The second frame member portion includes a second seal-forming abutment 26, and the two members are interconnected by a thermally insulating barrier member 28. The barrier spaces the seal-forming abutments to define a hardware recess 30 for receiving a hardware carrier (32,Fig.2) that has a plurality of lock elements (34,Fig.2). The lock elements are connected together by an elongate metal actuator (40,Fig.2) that is movable relative to the hardware carrier to actuate the lock elements. The hardware carrier has a plastic carrier body against which the actuator abuts and slides.
