The strap device comprises two identical strips (figure 1) attached together in the centre of the two strips with a swivel component (4, figure 2). Each strip has hook fabric on one side and loop fabric on the other (or Velcro RTM) so that the strips can be formed into two loops of adjustable size, where the loop fabric on the inside of each loop. Tabs (3, figure 2) on each end of the strips assist with unfastening the loops. The loops can be rotated with respect to each other at the attachment point for purposes of positioning the loops/strips. It can be used for splinting or strapping the legs together when a leg, hip or pelvic injury has occurred or holding arms to restrict inconvenient arm movement of an unconscious patient.
