Modular containment and screening system
The system comprises first and second posts 10, each having a slot having sidewalls from which two ridges 52a, 54a extend forming a ridge gap, and a first wall 20a having leg and foot 60a portions at each end which are received in the slots, the leg portion being narrower than the ridge gaps, the foot portions being wider than the ridge gaps and extending deeper in the slot than the leg portions. The foot portions may be integrally or removably mounted to the leg portions. There may be third and fourth posts spaced from the first and second posts and with a second wall extending between them transverse to the first wall. The first wall may comprise first and second parallel and coplanar planks having grooves for receiving a stiffener. Also claimed is a modular construction system comprising four posts and four walls, each post having two slots for receiving one end of one of the walls. The system may be used for planters, raised beds, tables, storage containers, or screen walls.
