Power tool handle assemblies with vibration dampening assemblies
The first handle assembly includes a main handle 30 and a handle bar 50. The main handle has an end 31 configured to couple to a power tool. The handle bar has a first end coupled to the main handle at a first vibration dampening point, possibly with bracket 34, and a second end opposite the first end. At the first dampening point an isolation bushing is located. The handle bar is also coupled to the main handle at a second vibration damping point using a vibration damping assembly 70. The assembly includes a collar that encircles the main handle and a resilient member is positioned and compressed between the collar and the main handle. Also claimed is a second handle assembly wherein the collar includes two circumferential grooves which each receive annular resilient members. Also claimed is a motorised trowel including the second handle assembly.
