Mobile container system comprising standard-sized container
A mobile container system 100 comprises first and second containers (210, 220 Figure 2), such as ISO shipping containers, releasably securable together. Each container comprises a metal frame of corners connected by reinforcement beams. The containers are secured to each other via locking devices arranged between corners or reinforcement beams of the containers. At least a portion of the side walls of the containers are removed to provide an enlarged interior operating space. A fire-proof material is arranged on an inner surface of the containers and a fire-proof seam is arranged between at least one of the following: front wall and rear end of the containers; double doors of the containers; reinforcement beams of the containers; and the corners of the containers. The fire-proof material may comprise mineral wool whilst the seam may comprise elastic fire-proof sealant. The system may act as a testing unit for vehicle components such as combustion engines and may include a modular roof component.
