A clamp for a door comprises a base member 3, an upright member 5 supported by the base member, an upper member 7 extending from the upright member such that it is spaced apart from and substantially parallel with said base member wherein the base and upper members each have a rotatable securing mechanism 20 on their respective upper and lower surfaces; the securing mechanisms are substantially aligned on a vertical axis and are suitable for receiving and detachably securing opposite edges of a door. An additional embodiment comprises a clamp for securing a door having a frame work of first and second elongated arms removably attached to an upright member, wherein the arms are parallel to one another and each have a rotatable securing device in opposed vertical alignment for securing the ends of a door between the arms; and the upright member further comprises at least one securing means for temporarily securing a lengthwise edge of a door to prevent rotation.
