Piling template apparatus and method of piling utilising same
A piling template apparatus 100 for positioning a pile 60 to be installed in a piling operation, the said pile being a next pile 60N of an array of piles being installed in the piling operation. Wherein the template apparatus comprises engagement means 140 for engaging and supporting the said next pile in a desired location and orientation in which it is to be installed, support means 160 for supporting the template apparatus on one or more other piles 60P of the array already installed in the piling operation. The template apparatus further including transportation means 180 for transporting the template apparatus from a first installation position in which it is supported on one or more already installed piles of the array or series and at a location defining an installation location of a previously installed pile, to a second installation position in which it defines an installation location for the said next pile to be installed in the array.
