Window mounting
An adjustable glazing block 24 is provided for use in retaining a glazing unit (10, fig 1) in a frame 12. The adjustable glazing block 24 has a body (48, fig 18) upon which a glazing unit can be supported. A first flange (58, fig 16) extends upwardly, in use, from one side of the body to retain the glazing unit in a frame. The glazing block also includes a retaining member 32, which is movably mounted to the body and has a second flange (64, fig 16) that extends upwardly in use to a greater extent than the first flange. The retaining member may include a screw adjustment to determine its position with respect to the body. In a second aspect, a fixed glazing block (30, fig 20) is provided that has a hollow body with upwardly facing openings so that adhesive within the body can contact a glazing unit, and one or more resilient projections extending from the body to be engagable with the glazing unit. Also provided are a glazing assembly with a window that is removably mounted in the frame, kits of parts, and a method of installing a window.
