Fire resistant glazing unit
This specification generally relates to fire resistant glazing units and processes for their manufacture. It also relates to the use of fire-resistant glazing units in construction, and constructions comprising such glazings. An example fire resistant glazing unit comprises two panes of glass (1) which are arranged together with a seal (3) to enclose a fire-resistant interlayer (4). The seal (3) is adapted to breach in the event of a fire causing pressure to build-up between the panes. The resultant increased pressure is released by breach of the seal before it can cause a pane to break in an unfavourable manner.
