A roller carriage for supporting a slidable panel and comprising a housing with an internal space having an inside wall, two or more wheel carrying members 600 and one or more non-wheel carrying members 213 wherein a retaining element 230 240 extends from or partially extends into the inside surface to slidably retain each of the non-wheel carrying members in the internal space and allowing them to slide along the internal space. Preferably the retaining element is a protrusion or a groove extending along the entire length. There may be a retaining element located on either side of the housing to engage with a complimentary element on either side of the non-wheel carrying member. An adjustment mechanism at the end of the housing (115 Fig 1) may move the members along the housing and due to their wedge shape raise or lower the wheels relative to the track. A cleaning element, e.g. a brush 640 642 may be located in a chamber in the wheel carrying member and may clean the track, wheel or both at the same time.
