Vertical cellular drape for an architectural structure
A vertical cellular drape for an architectural structure extends, in use, in a vertical direction between a top end 108 and bottom end 110 and in a lateral direction 112 between first and second lateral ends 114, 116. The drape is moveable in the lateral direction between an extended and a retracted position and further includes a front panel 120 and a rear panel 150 coupled thereto. The front panel defines a plurality of front pleats 122, 124 and the rear panel defines a plurality of rear pleats 152, 154, the rear pleats being disposed in proximity to the front pleat in the lateral direction of the drape, thereby forming corresponding pairs of front and rear pleats (i.e. 122, 154 and 124, 152). A plurality of internal ribs 130, 160 extend vertically between top and bottom ends of the drape and extend between front and rear panels at or adjacent the pleats. The first and second panels are positioned relative to one another such that the extended drape defines a plurality of internal cells 115 which extend in the vertical direction. In a further aspect, each plurality of internal cells may define alternating angled orientations between their first and second lateral sides in the cross-wise direction 118 of the drape.
