Fastening means
Fastening means for releasably attaching at least one part of an object10 to a surface 15 comprises first and second component parts 12, 18. The first component 12 includes means for secure attachment of the first component to a surface. One of the first and second components includes an externally screw-threaded portion 16 and the other of the first and second components includes a complementary internally screw threaded portion 24. A part of the object is shaped to pass through an aperture in the second component 18. In use, a further part 28’ of the object is clamped between the first and second components. The further part 28’ is preferably a clamping plate. The second component 18 may be freely rotating with respect to the object. Also defined is an assembly including the fastening means and an object, and methods of releasing and removing an object from a surface using the fastening means.
