Protector for a flexible elongate article
The device 28 for a flexible elongate article 14, such as a cable, wire, tape, rope or strand used on a fence post. The device comprises a body with a through hole through which the flexible article passes, the device also including a portion which is insertable into an aperture 22 located within a post 12, the through hole passing through the insertable portion. The insertion portion may include a frustroconical or cylindrical projection on the body. Also claimed is a support arrangement where the support device is engaged with an engaging member 26 which clamp the flexible elongate article. The body of the device may include a recess with reinforcement ribs. Also claimed is a method of using a protector device with an engaging member.
