Modular wall unit
A modular wall unit 2 for a modular wall system 4, the unit comprising a first 12 and second 14 faces at least one of which is for joining to another wall unit a through hole 18 extends between the two joining faces and an elongate reinforcing member 20 is disposed within the through hole and has at least one tubular portion 22 at a terminating end. The unit may comprise a second through hole with a second reinforcing member (20b fig.4). It may also comprise a third reinforcing member (20c fig.4) between the first and second in an H-shaped configuration. Also disclosed is; a connecting element 700 in the form of a plug for connecting adjacent units, a method for forming a wall unit by inserting a reinforcing member into a mould and filling the mould with material, and a hanging device 74 comprising first and second hook portions 74b for supporting a frame 80.
