Improvements in or relating to sash windows
A noise excluder 50A, 50B suitable for use with a sash window has an upper member (52, fig 3b) and a lower member (56, fig 3b), wherein the upper and lower members interlock to form the noise excluder. The noise excluder may form a partial parting bead. The upper and lower members may have a tapered shape and may be triangular, stepped or curved. A sound proof sash window is also provided, incorporating a noise excluder on at least each sash stile and its adjacent inner lining. Also provided is a resilient draught excluder cassette suitable for use with a sash window and including one or more angled resilient layers and optionally a number of bolts for adjusting the angle of the resilient layer or layers.
