A stackable block 2 comprises a wall, said wall comprises a strip of material with an inner 10 (fig.1a) and outer 8 surface, first 55 (fig.4b) and second 57 ends, one or more transverse fold lines 65 therebetween. The wall is folded about the one or more fold lines, and first and second ends connected, to form a structure with an upper 4 (fig.1c) and lower 6 perimeter. At least part of the inner surface is vertically offset from the outer surface so that at least part of the upper and lower perimeters have stepped configurations. Also disclosed is a strip of material comprising first and second ends and one or more transverse fold lines spaced along inner and outer surfaces of the strip therebetween. The first and second ends being configured for attachment. At least a portion of the inner surface of the strip is vertically offset from the outer surface of the strip to define a stepped configuration.
