The invention relates to a tile levelling device comprising a member having a slot extending along a longitudinal axis thereof; and a main member having a base, a connecting member and a top portion; the connecting member extending between and connecting to the base and the top portion; wherein in use the slot is configured to receive at least a portion of the main member. The invention further relates to a method of levelling tiles using the tile levelling device.
