Cavity tray
A non-combustible cavity tray comprises a channel 73 which extends downwardly from the main planar surface of the cavity tray 71. The channel may be positioned at one or both lateral edges 65 of the tray. The tray may further comprise one or more ribs to prevent lateral movement of moisture across the tray. The channel may comprise a plurality of equispaced ribs 41 which may extend upwardly form the channel such that the apex of the ribs are at the same hight as the main planar surface. The channel which extends downwardly from the main planar surface of the cavity tray reduces the gap between the main planar surface of adjacent overlapping cavity trays as the channel may in use underly a portion of an adjacent cavity tray. Also disclosed is a building comprising a cavity wall and the above described tray.
